The North Stonington Resident Troopers participated in the most recent
"Click It or Ticket" campaign which began on November 16, 2009 and
concluded on November 29, 2009. This nationwide and statewide campaign
is an effort to further increase seatbelt compliance through educational
programs, public service messages, and vigorous enforcement of the
applicable motor vehicle laws.
The below listed statistics resulted from the North Stonington Resident
Troopers participation in the "Click It or Ticket" campaign:
209 seatbelt citations
59 miscellaneous motor vehicle violations
3 DUI arrests
1 Possession of Narcotics arrest
