5/11/2021 - Referendum/Vote date set Monday May 17th, Absentee ballots available, poll volunteer workers needed
Last night the Town Meeting moved the budget forward to a referendum vote on Monday May 17th between the hours of 6am-8pm. The vote will take place at the Education Center at 298 Norwich Westerly Road (old middle high school). For anyone who wishes not to vote in person, you are able to vote by absentee ballot for any reason with this vote under the Governors Executive Orders. Absentee ballots are available today by visiting the Town Clerk.
We currently do not have enough poll workers to staff this upcoming referendum. We are in need of Republican, Independent, minor party, or Unaffiliated voters who can help volunteer so we have a balanced group of volunteers.
