COVID-19 Tax Deferral Application
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Town of North Stonington is granting an additional grace period for those taxpayers who are in need of a delay in paying their taxes. To receive this interest free deferral, you will need to fill out the attached application. Applications are due no later than July 1, 2020. Any application received after the deadline will not be accepted per the Governor's Executive Order 7S and the Office of Policy and Management (OPM). The deferral program delays the July tax billing to be due by October 1, 2020.
Completed signed applications and a copy of proof of residency may be emailed to taxcollector@northstoningtonct.gov or mailed to the North Stonington Tax Collector, 40 Main Street, North Stonington, CT 06359. Additionally, application documents may be put in the drop box outside the door of New Town Hall.
