Eversource working to restore power

As of 6:30am this morning 25% of North Stonington was without power; around 646 customers. Eversource is working hard to restore power in town. They did have some reporting issues throughout the evening which have now been fixed. In CT there are 586,000 without power. Crews are being assigned and working diligently to help get things back for everyone. They ask that everyone remain patient as they do their best to safely get things fixed. Special thanks to our North Stonington Volunteer Fire Company, North Stonington Ambulance Association, Troop E Resident Troopers, and our Highway Crew who worked very hard throughout the night keeping the roads clear and as safe as possible.
