Recreation Program Update Regarding EEE

The North Stonington Recreation Department outdoor programming (all practices and games) for the remainder of the week must end at 6pm in an abundance of caution due to the recent EEE positive tests at Bell Cedar Swamp and Wyassup Lake. Neither lake is in the area of the fields and of the mosquitoes that were tested, one is not attracted to mammals and the other does not fly far from its breeding spot. Please note the email from the Town earlier today and use standard precautions for avoidance of mosquitoe.
