Urgent update- Storm information

Good morning- We are now facing our 3rd, Nor’easter type storm in less than 2 weeks. With this storm widespread outages are expected again. This snow is heavy and trees will come down with the weight and wind. Please note the following precautions that should be taken now:
- If you see wires down report to Eversource and call 911 to report
- Have flashlights available
- Consider filling your bathtubs with water
The Emergency Operations Center is partially open and located in the New Town Hall. Emergency Management Director Gary Baron is available at 860-912-0004. Town Hall is closed today.
There will also be a link we will try to keep updated on the town website www.northstoningtonct.gov with live updates of road closures due to downed trees.
