Water Pollution Control Authority
The North Stonington Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA) is the Town's designated Water Pollution Control Authority, as provided in Chapter 103, 7-245 et seq. of the Connecticut State Statutes, and is required to implement policies and procedures to protect ground and surface waters of the state. Responsibilities also include the planning, design, and oversight of all water pollution control facilities in the Town of North Stonington.
