The TOWN OF NORTH STONINGTON will receive sealed bids on or before 12:00 p.m., on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at the Office of the First Selectman located at 40 Main Street, North Stonington CT. 06359. At such time, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Bids will be received for the reconstruction of the old high school exterior wall project, including the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, services, and equipment necessary for a complete installation for the projects titled “OLD HIGH SCHOOL EXTERIOR WALL RECONSTRUCTION” at 298 Norwich Westerly Road for the TOWN OF NORTH STONINGTON.
A prebid walkthrough will be held at the site on November 14, 2022. At 2:00PM. All questions/clarifications should be submitted in writing to: Robert Carlson at RCarlson@northstoningtonct.gov The last day to submit questions is Wednesday, November 16, 2022. All questions will be answered by 4 pm. Friday November 18, 2022.
The successful bidder(s) will be required to furnish and pay for 100% Performance and Payment Bond or Bonds, in the forms included in the Specifications. The payment and performance bond will be identified in the bid form as an add alternate.

This project requires compliance with the Equal Employment Opportunity provisions of Executive Order 11246; Non-Discrimination Provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; Prevailing Wage determinations as issued by the Connecticut Department of Labor; and other provisions outlined in the bid documents.
Bids, to receive consideration, must be in the hands of the authorized representative no later than the day and hour mentioned above. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the opening of bids, without the consent of the above Authority.
