The Town of North Stonington is seeking a Truck Driver for the Highway Department that will be responsible for operating large trucks as required by the town. Employees in this position shall be required to have and maintain a current, valid CDL type “B” driver’s license, at the minimum, with a good driving record clear of any convictions for serious motor vehicle violations. Employees must be able to perform all duties and operate all equipment in lower classifications. Must have the ability to read and write English and to comprehend procedures, policies, documents, and directives that are necessary to the safe performance of the job.
