Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program Benefits Cards Available
The Connecticut Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program provides eligible seniors with a $40 electronic benefit card that can be used at participating Connecticut farmers markets and farm stands to purchase fresh Connecticut-grown fruits, vegetables, herbs, honey, and eggs. Benefits are available on a first-come, first-served basis while funding lasts.
To qualify, applicants must be 60 years of age or older and meet the following 2026 gross household income guidelines:
- 1 Person Household: $29,526 annually ($2,461/month)
- 2 Person Household: $40,034 annually ($3,337/month)

Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center Food Pantry
The Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center Food Pantry provides essential support to local families through access to nutritious food and everyday necessities. Available items include fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy products, protein, bread, non-perishable foods, pet food, and daily living supplies such as toiletries, hygiene products, and cleaning essentials. “Social and essential services for people of all ages who reside in Stonington, Pawcatuck, Mystic, North Stonington, and Westerly.” — Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center, 860-599-3285.
PNC Food Truck Distribution
The PNC Food Truck visits the North Stonington Senior Center, Tuesdays at 10AM, to provide free food items to North Stonington residents of all ages who may be in need. Fresh bread is always available, and additional items such as produce, dairy products, and other groceries may be offered depending on availability.
This community resource is open to residents of all ages and helps provide access to supplemental food items throughout the month.

Preston City Congregational Church Food Pantry
The Preston City Congregational Church Food Pantry is available to both church members and non-members. Food bags are distributed on the third Wednesday of each month, and no registration is required. Participants only need to provide their first name and last initial.
