Request for bids- 119 Clarks Falls Road

Property is a historic schoolhouse currently owned by the Town of North Stonington. The town will be soliciting bids to purchase this property “as-is”. The successful bidder will sign a contract which will include language regarding historical restrictions on the property that the town will include in the quit claim deed to the property. Preference will be given to abutting property owners or non-profit organizations committed to historic preservation and/or affordable housing that submit a summary of their intent for the property. A walk through-showing of the property will take place on November 5th at 2pm. Bids must be received at town hall no later than November 13th at 3:30pm.

Bids will be awarded at the Board of Selectman’s meeting on November 27th. The town reserves the right to refuse any and all bids for any reason. The successful bidder will sign a contract with the town for purchase.
