The Town of North Stonington is actively seeking bids for line stripping on town maintained roadway surfaces.

Bid to include pricing for approximately 46.62 miles of single 4” yellow, 8.1 miles of double yellow and .36 miles of 4” single white line shoulder stripping. Stripping paint shall meet current Connecticut reflectivity and durability standards.

The following roads have sections with gaps for livestock to crossings per farmers, gap distances vary per farm. Chester Main Road, Hangman Hill Road and Boombridge Road.

The town is adding a .36 miles shoulder 4“ white line located on the South shoulder of Main St from the intersections of RT 2 easterly to Wyassup Rd.

Bidders must coordinate with highway foreman or assistant highway foreman at 860-535-0924 or email highway@northstoningtonct.gov prior to start of project.

Road mileage spreadsheet is included in package.

No special bid packages are required.
