Transfer station permits/stickers will be issued beginning this Saturday

This Saturday we will be issuing new transfer station stickers. You must have a valid North Stonington Registration to be issued one. We will also be handing out information about mandatory recycling. It is important not only because of the environmental implications to recycle, but it costs the town more money to dispose of items that could have been recycled. Southeastern Connecticut Resource Recovery will be on hand Saturday as well distributing literature and answering recycling questions. Permits are currently free of charge for North Stonington residents.
