Public Works Foreman Job Description

The Town of North Stonington is seeking an individual to fill its position of Public Works Foreman. 

Candidate is required to have a Connecticut Class “A” CDL License and be capable of operating a variety of highway and construction equipment.  The individual must be able to read blueprints and plan and estimate tasks for town projects.  Candidate must be or have the ability to obtain a Connecticut Transfer Station Operators certification.  Bacherlor's degree preferred. Position is full time salaried position and require attendance at some meetings and working with the crew throughout the year.  Must be available for town emergency situations.
