North Stonington Village Waterline Extension
The Town of North Stonington is requesting formal bids to furnish and install approximately 1560 LF of new 8-inch water main, 20 LF of 6-inch, and 20 LF of 3-inch piping extending southeasterly on Main Street to Rocky Hollow Road across Route 2 and from the North Stonington Public Works Garage, 11 Wyassup Road to the North Stonington Grange, 21 Wyassup Road.
The work includes furnishing and installing new water main piping, valves, flushing assemblies, water service installations, and reconnection to the existing water mains and hydrant installation including all testing, sanitizing and surface restoration.
There will be a mandatory site walk on February 23, 2017, at 10:00 AM at the Town Hall, 40 Main Street. Sealed Bids for the above work will be received at the Selectmen's Office, 40 Main Street, North Stonington, Connecticut 06359 until 10:00 AM, prevailing time on May 15th, 2017, at which place and time said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
